Nonsense CXCII.
Antizero, antione, antitwo, and pseudozero.

The date Wednesday, 01/01/2014 will be recorded for posterity in letters of an alloy of platinum and gold, because that day, Apprentice Mathematician Number 4 (AMN4) invented several new numbers, including the antizero and the antione, aboard the luxury yacht Science, anchored in Brindisi, where the ancient inhabitants of the sixteenth century BC (BCE) manufactured a high-quality bronze (an alloy of copper and tin).

It is likely these two inventions —the antizero and the antione— are considered in the near future, a milestone in the development of contemporary mathematics and in the history of science in the 21st century.

That day, the first one of January, two thousand fourteen, with his wife, his two daughters, his son, and all the crew, ate a Texan style roast beef, with sauces, pickles, salads and baguettes, and all of them drank toasts with red wines of the Abruzzos.

Regarding the antizero, it is a very difficult and abstract numeric concept, so it will not be explained here, since only about forty people worldwide could have a glimpse of understanding about it. It is simply indescribable. We write it symbolically: a0.

Maybe by July 2015 AMN4 deign to draft long paragraphs in order to try to explain certain approaches to understanding the antizero, to the rest of humanity, we really are a bunch of ignorant ones (Homo ignorantis tardus), although some consider our way behind species as the Homo sapiens sapiens, nothing less.

As for the antione, it is neither -1 (minus one), nor 0.1 (zero dot one), nor the imaginary number i (√ -1).

This is the antione, and is written as an inverted (turned upside down) number 1:




The Apprentice Mathematician Number 4 has yet to reveal the essence of antione because he has not patented it, but he has glimpsed what this newest number can serve for, and hopes to develop his hypothesis in a space of two years.

(I). It could be a very useful application for all living humanity and even for a portion of the deceased, by gear of normalized hypertranstemporaneity, excluding asymptotic freedom.

(II). Also, it could be exploited in the polarized targeting of energy of lightness and lowness, in strange virtual or ethereal gutters, ionized and ionizing conductive and rearranging of electromagnetic microwaves of wavelengths from ten to one centimeter, and frequencies from 3 to 30 gigahertz (GHz) at a ridiculously low cost. This could lead to the financial failure and real collapse of cell phone companies worldwide.

(III). Used in conjunction with the antizero, it could have interesting applications in the field of hyperreal mathematics and theoretical physics.

In order to create the antizero, the antione, the antitwo, the antithree, et cetera, AMN4 had to aspire for at least a week, the salty thalassoprana (from the Greek word Thalassa [sea] and the Sanskrit word prana [breath of life]) of the Ionian Sea and then direct the bow north; he borrowed some concepts of astronomy, theoretical physics, vectors, extrapolation, and complex analysis, and mentioned and intended variations and approaches toward a heterodox numbergraphy:

Moreover, the great AMN4 has reported that during the second half of this year of Our Lord, 2014, he will be attempting something much more difficult: the creation of the pseudozero (ps0), for which he must devise sophisticated formulas based on topology, numerical theory, trigonometry, fractals, calculus, and sets, as well as apply the highest numbergenic abstraction.

If AMN4 manages to create the pseudozero, as his supporters expect, it will happen what has happened to certain inventions: after creation, its makers ask what can it serve for? So, it will be an early solution looking for a problem to be resolved.



Nonsense CXCIII.
Antitime.
The Apprentice Physicist Number  5 (APhN5) in a recent experimental lecture at the Chilean Easter Island (Rapa Nui) has stated that in virtue that an ideal object (an ideal concept) transcends or has a being in itself, in an epistemological sense, and as it is not known if some of the kinds of times out there really exist or not, he has taken the time to hypothesize about various types of times and has contributed his own view:

There are:
(a) Real and ordinary time, or universal linear time. According to many scientists, it is the fourth dimension of spacetime, symbolized by the letter t. (The first three are, according to the Cartesian coordinate system: x, y, z.) The time unit in the International System of Units —Le Système Internationl d'unités (SI)—, is the second. Many analog watches and clocks have in addition to the hours' and minutes' hands, a third hand called seconds' hand, it takes this seconds' hand, 60 seconds or a minute to complete one turn around the clock face.

However, the higher the speed at which an aircraft, rocket, spaceship move... the slower the time passes for the crew and passengers than for those on earth.

(b) Verb tenses (times): The verb has moods; the mood, tenses; the tense, numbers; the number, persons.

(c) The musical times (rhythms).

(d) The historical times (in the time of the Vikings, in the time of Queen Christina of Sweden), sports times (Overath scored one goal in the 14th minute of the second half time of yesterday's soccer game), innings (in baseball), falls (in wrestling), rounds (in boxing), sets (in tennis), quarters (in football), deadlines, dates, terms, eons, epochs, eras, ages, periods, seasons, episodes, planting, harvesting, phases, cycles, seasons, breaks, durations, dates, stages, calends, epacts, seconds, minutes, hours, sesquihours, days, infra octaves, weeks, octaves, novenas, tens, fortnights, months, bimonthly, quarterly, quadrimonthly, semesters, years, bienniums or biennia, trienniums or triennia, quadrenniums or quadrennia, lustrums or lustra, quinquenniums or quinquennia, sexenniums or sexennia, septenniums or septennia, octenniums or octennia, novenniums or novennia, decenniums or decennia, decades, centuries, sesquicenturies, millenia, et cetera.

(e) Real-time systems and timesharing systems, in informatics, cybernetics, communications...

For example, the Gulf War (01/17/1991-02/28/1991) in Iraq, was covered live —in real time— by cameras and microphones of Cable News Network, or CNN, founded by billionaire Ted Turner. CNN transmitted battles and attacks in the same instant that happened, however, the signal arrived to television sets in North America with a few seconds delay. However it was considered that the transmissions and receptions were simultaneous, although strictly speaking  that did not happen.

In computing, timeshare systems refer to concurrent use of computing resources among many users simultaneously through multiprogramming technologies.

(f) Time for a menu, banquet, lunch, dinner.
Here, time means entry. For instance, a menu of four entries may be composed as follows:
First entry (time): for example, a table of white, light cheeses, with grapes.
Second entry (time): a salad (various types of lettuce, shredded carrots, radishes, tomatoes, et cetera), or a soup, or a mousse (this French word literally means "foam") made with beaten egg whites (and/or whipped cream) and some vegetable like broccoli, asparagus, et cetera, or chop suey (a Chinese expression) [without meat]: bean or soy sprouts, onions, mushrooms, rice, soy sauce...
Third entry (time): main course: meat (beef, pork, horse, donkey, deer, rabbit, chicken, turkey, duck, frog... ), or fish, or shellfish, id est, proteins and fats.
Fourth entry (time): dessert: jelly, pudding, snow, pie, cake...

(g) Strokes (times), in mechanics and engineering: phases of an internal combustion engine . For example, a four-stroke engine completes a combustion thermodynamic cycle this way: 1 admission, 2 compression, 3 explosion/expansion, 4 exhaust.

(h) Timeshares or multiple ownership. The timeshare scheme refers to the right of use of real estate and its gardens, pools, beaches, forests, and nearby facilities, for a certain period (one week a year, for example). Generally these facilities are used to spend vacations or holidays.

(i) Imaginary time. English physicist Stephen Hawking (1942- ) has noted that the ordinary and real time can be graphed or viewed as a horizontal line (x-axis) that goes from left to right, the past time is on the left and the future time is on the right, it is also possible to consider the imaginary time as a line perpendicular (vertical) to the real time, id est, right-angled at 90 degrees from the line of real or ordinary time. In this vertical line ( y-axis), the previous imaginary time is below, and the future imaginary time is above.

(j) Saving of time, or knowledge as a substitute for time:

Imagine you are reading a book of over 700 pages, which does not exist on the Internet, there is no electronic version; only thousands of printed copies of this paper-and-ink product. Someone, for example the editor, before sending the book to the printing press, has decided to command a reviewer or copy editor or spelling checker or style proofreader, that in addition to provide a table of contents or general index to be printed in the first pages of the book, his subordinate(s) shall make several more indexes (to place them in the final pages of the book): (A) one onomastic index, alphabetized by the last names of the persons mentioned in the book, (B) a toponymic index, with the names of cities, towns, rivers, dams, states, provinces, prefectures, schools, markets, museums, palaces, churches, parks, gardens, et cetera, that appear in the book, (C) an analytical index of trascendent words or concepts or keywords that appear in the book, (D) an authors' index, which lists the scientists and writers mentioned in the volume, (E) a sequence or progression of notes (numbered from the beginning to the end of the book, or numbered by chapter) when the editor decides that such notes will not be footnotes but they will be endnotes which will be collected under a separate heading at the end of chapters or at the end of the book, (F) finally, a bibliography, and/or a hemerography, and/or a webography. 

Without the inclusion of these indices, you, as a reader, would have to invest or "waste" time to find the character, let us say, Ernest Spencer, or the Falcon Dam, or entropy (or enthalpy, or intussusception, or solipsism, or chronaxie, or loxodrome, or achromatopsia), that rare word that appeared on... what page? ... and that author Seldner... on which page was he cited?, et cetera.

The editor, a great foresighter, will have saved you minutes and even hours of searching. You just need to know the alphabet: a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, i, j, k, l, m, n, o, p, q, r, s, t, u, v, w, x, y, z... and refer to the appropriate index. Such an index will point you which page to go to.

Centuries and even decades ago, many books did not include these indices.



On the internet there are gigantic databases used by search engines like:

yahoo.com, bing.com, ask.com, cuil.com.co, www.hotbot.com, google.com, kosmix.com, hakia.com, lexxe.com, answers.com/bb, wolframalpha.com, deeppeep.org, clusty.com, http://blindsearch.fejus.com, duckduckgo.com, yauba, hunch.com, OneRiot, Scoopler, powerset , yandex, et cetera.

In a way, these databases are sophisticated and manipulatable* indexes, containing numerous data and connections, they are giant, used for performing searches, Boolean ones or not. They save the users a lot of time.

*But only by the respective software of the abovementioned companies.



In the extreme sections or headers of aisles or shelves in supermarkets, there are signs, indicators of the products you can find there. The manager will have saved you time, having commanded certain employees to print and put those signs in the aisle 1, aisle 2, aisle 3, and so on.



The above are only three examples in which knowledge replaces –or saves–  time, even if partially, id est, it will not save you 100 percent of time, as you should consult an index, or visit/open an Internet search engine, or walk in order to read a sign. Yes, it can be argued that knowledge replaces or saves more than 95 percent of your time in most cases, as I believe.

(k) Other kinds of time, you can search in dictionaries and encyclopedias.

(l) Clocks, watches, timers, calendars, diaries, logs, itineraries, schedules, Gantt charts...

(m) The time regained (Le temps retrouvé) [1927], a posthumous novel by French writer Marcel Proust (1871-1922).

There are no:
(1) Cyclic times of Hindus, Egyptians, Native Americans, and so on.
In the center of the flag of India is the Ashoka Chakra, also known as Wheel of Time, in navy blue, with 24 peaks symbolizing the 24 hours of the day. It replaced the spinning wheel, which was at the center of the flag before Independence of India, from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, which occurred on Friday, 08/15/1947.

The Wheel of Time means wheel movement, the dynamism of a peaceful change, as the stagnation means death, whereas in movement there is life, India should not resist change, it must move, go forward.

That famous "Wheel of Time" is related to metempsychosis or transmigration of souls, the basis of reincarnation, another Hindu myth.

Another leg-pull was the supposed Aztec, Mexica, Meshica or Nahua cycle of 52 years. These Amerindians, whose capital was Tenochtitlan founded by the chieftain Tenoch to 1325 AD (ce),  at the end of each cycle of 52 years, they feared for the fate of the world if the Sun could think "no rise again", so that the priests used to perform, at the end of the 52-year cycle, a ritual of The New Fire, they lit fire at a teocalli (temple, or rather "a house of a god"), at the hill of La Estrella (The Star), in Mexico City, then known as Huizachtécatl. Also sacrificed a warrior or an important individual. 

(2) Time that goes "backwards", id est, into the past. Something that can "illustrate" this is the baloney shown in the video for the song "Return to innocence", from the album The cross of changes, 1993, by German-Romanian electronic music group Enigma, which depicts the life of an individual that begins with death and ends with birth.

(3) Greek gods like Chronos nor Greek titans like Cronus .

(4) Individuals —and especially women— that rejuvenate rather than age, because they use a watch whose hands rotate counterclockwise.

Several things that "existed" and no longer exist:
(α, alpha) The atime. Before the Big Bang the atime "existed": there was no time. The prefix a- in "atime" means "without ", from the Greek language; it is a privative prefix.

Time, space, matter, antimatter, dark matter, energy, dark energy, the antienergy and antitime began to coexist simultaneously in the Big Bang, or can also be argued, that already existed before the Big Bang, but were "static", "reduced" , "condensed", "latent", "lethargic", or "crouched" in one single point, and were measurable in "zeptobarns" or "yoctobarns" (area) or yoctometers (diameter).

(β, beta) Nothingness or "absolute vacuum".

(γ, gamma ) The antispace.

At the time of the Big Bang, atime, nothingness or "absolute vacuum", and antispace ceased to exist.

Please remember that these paragraphs are nonsense, specifically this one is #193. Just kidding.

If darkness is the absence of light, if black is the absence of color, if cold is the absence of heat, then atime could be the absence or lack of time. But are there or "existed "once, darkness, the black "color", cold, atime?

It is not known if the following ones exist:
(I) The diatime, id est, "time through time."

(II) Hemitime and partitime or partialtime.

(II a) To understand these concepts, we have to use a simile. Imagine that you are sanding a piece of wood, a quadrangular prism, for example, with only your right hand. You stop for a few minutes and go to the fridge to get a drink (soda) or a beer; while drinking your refreshment, you think about ending the task faster if you use both hands simultaneously, apply more work, force, energy, so you go back to where the wooden polyhedron is and take two equal pieces of sandpaper, one in each hand, and start sanding simultaneously two opposite faces of the piece of wood (hemitime) , and then you call your brother/son and the piece is sanded by four hands (partialtime).

(II b) Due to your job, you travel weekly to another city, located 180 miles from where you live, in a car at 60 miles per hour. Suddenly, one day, you decide to travel at 120 m.p.h to save half the time. The risk of an accident is greater.

(II c) You are a foreman or a manager, seated at a table, and perform accounts and computations while monitoring the reapers or workers. You kill two birds with one stone.

(II') Accelerated time.

(II a') Instead of sanding with four hands, you and your brother/son sand with four machines, a faster way (partialtime, but faster than partitime).

(II b') You travel by plane, or use the internet to avoid having to travel by car.

(II c') You delegate these tasks, in order to embark on a larger project, about the company overview, statistics, growth forecast for next year, and so on.

(III) Asynchronous time, or acurrence.

(IV) Accelerated time... it is when a faster time overtakes a time that advances at "cruising speed".

(V) Extropic time. It puts order. This is the opposite of entropic time (entropy: "magnitude of disorder in a system.")

(VI) Riemannian times. Just as there are Riemannian spaces (named after German mathematician George F.B. Riemann [1826-1866 ]), There may be Riemannian times. —This is a joke, as far as it is known, there are no Riemannian times. The Riemannian spaces do exist, epistemologically, as ideal objects, as mathematical entities. So they are intangible, unlike an orange or a baseball, for example.

(VII) While time is a nonspatial continuum, maybe the chronyon does exist, it is an hypothetical elementary particle of time. It is an elementary boson of mass 0 (zero) which apparently interacts with almost no particles, exceptions are other chronyons, and antichronyons. The spin or angular momentum of chronyons is 0 (zero), but it can change to 1 wildly, and it is unknown if their charge is positive, negative, neutral, neutral-simple, neutral-combined, pseudopositive, pseudonegative, fluctuating-variable (if it changes from - to +, and/or from + to -, and if it increases and decreases each yoctosecond) or if they have no charge at all. It is therefore a great mystery of physics and mathematics. APhN5 says he has discovered the chronyon on Thursday, January 9, 2014.

Chronyons are by far the fastest particles in the universe. In fact, they can cross the entire universe in a yoctosecond: 1 x 10 ^ -24 s.

(VIII) Normal straight time. When chronyons are moving in a straight line.

(IX) Circumferential time. It occurs when chronyons do not move in a straight line but circumferentially.

(X) Ellipsoidal time. It happens when chronyons do not move in a straight line, but along the perimeter of an ellipse.

(XI) Parabolic time. It happens when chronyons do not move in a straight line, but parabolically.

(XII) Hyperbolic time. It happens when chronyons do not advance in a straight line, but paired (always in pairs) move hyperbolically.

(XIII) Inverted or retro time. When chronyons do not advance, but retreat.

(XIV) Spheroidal Time. When chronyons travel as if they were moving along the surface of a sphere by following the points of the "north pole" of a spiraloidly moving axis as per well defined radianic scales.

(XV) Helicoidal time. It happens when chronyons follow the stroke of a spinning propeller.

(XVI) Zigzag time. Chronyons advance in zigzag.

(XVII) Sinusoidal time. The chronyons, when traveling, plot sinusoid curves.

(XVIII) Intratime. Internal time or "time within time."

(XIX) Metatime. Time which is posterior to real or ordinary time.

(XX) Paratime. Co-time, or "time along time." Really, a mysterious phenomenon.

(XXI) Fantastic time. It is distantly similar to imaginary time —please see subsection (i), above—, the difference is that this one should be plotted as a line correspond to the z-axis of the Cartesian coordinates. In this case, the past time is close to the observer of the three axes, and and the future time is away from the observer.

(XXII) Combined time. This time happens when chronyons rotate circumferentially, but also advance otherwise (as do cyclones).

XXIII) Hypertime. This rare phenomenon is the "excess of time".

(XXIV) Hypotime. "Lack of time".

(XXV) Discontinuous or intermittent time. This one occurs when chronyons disappear and reappear every yoctosecond or every zeptosecond, according to some variables not yet determined. Apparently they do not annihilate each other. It is not something magical, but a scientific mystery.

(XXVI) Still time, or floating time. The chronyons station themselves "voluntarily".

(XXVII) Boxed or captured time. The chronyons are stationary, held by the action of antichronyons.

(XXVIII) Focused time. The chronyons form beams focused toward a moment or an instant in time.

(XXIX) Rupture of time. The chronyons break formation and move in any and all directions, wildly.

(XXX) Descending time. The chronyons are rapidly precipitated.

(XXXI) Antitime. It happens when it is not chronyons, but the elusive and rare antichronyons, advancing, apparently straight.

(XXXII) Mutually annihilating, enemy times. When a group of chronyons and other constituted by antichronyons decide to collide and annihilate each other. They may be equidistant or not to the point of collision. Moreover, this strange phenomenon may lead to the creation of atimes, although ephemeral, fortunately for humankind.

(XXXIII) Extended time. When certain smart chronyons decrease their speed so that the actors —humans, animals, plants, fungi, viruses, inert objects— can consider an extension of the "this instant" time, since the latter only lasts a moment, and it would be imperceptible. For example, Catherine can tell her friend on her cell phone : "I am going out of school," when in fact she came two minutes ago and is situated about 600 feet from her school.

(XXXIV) Bubbly time. It is when chronyons form "bubbles". Time encapsulates itself capriciously.

(XXXV) Slowed time. The chronyons drastically reduce its speed when a spaceship, star, group of particles, et cetera, passes close to them at high speed.

(XXXVI) Latent time. When time is "hidden" —chronyons rise and fall quickly to pretend they do not exist, but no longer fool anyone.

(XXXVII) Expansive time. When chronyons disperse to occupy more space. The "t" wants to take over the other three variables (x, y, z).

(XXXVIII) Intermittent time. When chronyons of certain regions of the universe stop and create an "empty time" each yoctosecond, and then resume their flight. It is imperceptible to human senses, but a fourth-generation detector of time can track it.

(XXXIX) Elongated permanent time. It will happen when, after the Big Rip, the chronyons will double each yoctosecond and pretend they fill, all by themselves, all of the immense and unimaginable space. Antichronyons will double too, but every two yoctoseconds, so this process will be very slow and lengthy .
